The P.SYS Bedmonitor is part of the FFG & KWF funded research and development project Detect&Connect “, in which an individual and holostic protection system for older people is developed, tailored to the special needs and requirement of this age group. The product development and market entry of the P.SYS Bedmonitor is supported by PreSeed funding by the BMDW and BMK, handled by the AWS.
P.SYS caring systems (pronounced „pieces“), a company in the area of active assisted living (AAL) is committed to the safety and comfort of older people, their families and helpers. Based on years of experience in developing systems for the semiconductor and nanotechnology sectors, a non-invasive assistance system is now being developed. The goal is to enable older people to lead a self-determined life . The founders Bart Scholte van Mast and Elise van Harxen are supported by a team from the fields of medical technology, mathematics, electronics and statistics. Well-known methods based on more than 50 years of research and development experience are applied to alternative use cases. Based on a personal incident in the family environment of the founders, the path was set in the direction of AAL. P.SYS caring systems sees itself as a facilitator of a self-determined life in old age.

In the right place at the right time - the P.SYS Bedmonitor provides advanced sensing technology and local artificial intelligence that supports care staff and ensures that the residents of care facilities can really relax at night. The sensors, placed under the bed legs, allow the autonomous detection of exceptional situations and the system alerts care staff if necessary - no reason for them to disturb the residents with unnecessary nightly rounds. At the same time the carers can react faster to actual needs. This all happens without affecting the residents in any way. The sensors are maintenance-free and can be integrated into our P.SYS overall system Detect & Connect. The sensors can be used stand-alone, be integrated with existing emergency systems, and are available as a complete P.SYS support system. Our Product About Us The P.SYS systems were developed and tested together with future users and research partners. Our Partners
